Here is a guide on how to enabled the ability to install third-party apps from outside of the store.<\/p>\n

So many existing Android versions\/Hardware manufacturers makes it differs a lot. However, despite the slight UI differences they all follows the same concept.<\/p>\n

Versions earlier than Android 8:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Go to your phone\u2019s Settings.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Tap Security.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Under Device administration<\/strong>, toggle Unknown sources<\/strong> on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Android 8 and above:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Go to \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cSecurity & privacy<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cMore settings<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n
    2. Tap on Install apps from external sources. Select the browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox) you want to download the APK files from.<\/li>\n
    3. Toggle Allow app installs<\/strong> on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For Samsung devices:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Go to \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cBiometrics and security<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cInstall unknown apps<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
      2. Select the browser (e.g., Chrome or Firefox) you want to download the APK files from.<\/li>\n
      3. Toggle Allow app installs<\/strong> on.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Then, go to \u201cSettings\u201d > \u201cGoogle\u201d > \u201cSecurity\u201d > \u201cGoogle Play Protect\u201d. Disable \u201cImprove harmful app detection\u201d & \u201cScan device for security threats\u201d.<\/p>\n
